WWDA Submissions to Government Consultations, Inquiries and Other Processes

This section contains a large number of WWDA Submissions to various government and industry policy reviews, inquiries, and public consultations. The Submissions date from 1995 to current, and each one is annotated for easy reference. The Submissions cover a wide range of issues including for example: models of disability advocacy; housing and accommodation; domestic violence; law reform; welfare reform; treaty development; sterilisation; telecommunications; sport and recreation; education and employment; health; ageing, and much more.

Conference Papers, Other Articles and Reports

Included in this section are articles, papers and reports written by women with disabilities and their allies. The annotated papers date from 1990 to current, and cover many issue areas, including for example: gender & disability; education & employment; pre-natal tsting & selective abortion; housing & accommodation; cost of disability; leadership; health; eugenics; violence; sterilisation; telecommunications; human rights; political activism; institutionalisation; reproductive rights; welfare reform; advocacy; and many more.

WWDA Project Reports

This section incorporates a number of reports from WWDA, detailing all aspects of the various Projects they cover. These projects were funded via various Project grants between 1997 to current. The types of projects include: Leadership & Mentoring; InformationTechnologies & Telecommunications; Accessible Information; Advocacy; and, Preventing Violence Against Women with Disabilities.
