VICTORIA

Victorian Aids and Equipment Services (Department of Human Services)
The Aids and Equipment Program provides subsidised aids, equipment and home modifications to eligible people needing assistance to live safely and independently in their own home. The primary aim is to safely support people with a long-term disability, their families and carers to reduce reliance on carers and prevent premature admission into institutional care or high cost services.


WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Community Aids and Equipment Program (Western Australia Disability Services Commission)
The Community Aids and Equipment Program (CAEP) funds the purchase of basic and essential aids and equipment to assist people with disabilities to manage at home. People who are eligible for services from the Commission, who have a long term disability and who are living in the community may apply.


TASMANIA

Community Equipment Scheme (Tasmanian Department of Health & Human Services)
The Community Equipment Scheme (CES) provides a variety of equipment and continence aids and appliances to eligible clients living in the community.


NEW SOUTH WALES

Program of Appliances for Disabled People (PADP) (New South Wales Health)
Program of Appliances for Disabled People (PADP) is a NSW Government program for people with disabilities. The role of PADP is to assist eligible residents of NSW who have a permanent or long-term disability to live and participate in their community by providing appropriate equipment, aids and appliances. PADP is administered through a number of Lodgement Centres throughout NSW. Contact your relevant Area Health Service for details of your nearest Lodgement Centre.

Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Equipment Scheme (ACT Health)
The ACT Equipment Scheme offers funding to assist people with long term disabilities to obtain and maintain equipment to live at home in the community.


SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Independent Living Equipment Program (ILEP) (South Australia Department of Human Services)
ILEP is a Department of Human Services program for people who have permanent disabilities and are clients of Options Coordination. It is administered by the Independent Living Centre of SA. The role of the ILEP is to assist people with disabilities to remain living safely and independently within their homes and the community by providing them with equipment.


QUEENSLAND

Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) (Queensland Health)
The Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) provides eligible Queensland (Australian) residents with permanent and stabilised conditions or disabilities, access to subsidy funding for the provision of MASS endorsed aids and equipment.

TASMANIA

Independent Living Centre of Tasmania Inc
The Independent Living Centre (ILC) Tasmania is a non-profit community service organisation. The Centre provides impartial professional advice on equipment, building access and design, technology, design, access and resources to people with disabilities, together with their advocates, carers and service providers.


NEW SOUTH WALES

Independent Living Centre, New South Wales
The independent Living Centre, New South Wales, Australia displays a comprehensive range of products and equipment to assist with day to day living activities. You can try out products and equipment and select those most suitable for your needs, prior to purchase. We can provide you with supplier details and approximate prices. Items are only displayed and not sold.

The Independent Living Centre of Western Australia (ILC) is a not for profit organisation established in 1978. Since our beginning we have provided an information service on assistive technology and equipment that expanded in 2000 to include Home and Community services.

Yooralla Society of Victoria Independent Living Centre
The Independent Living Centre of Victoria provides a wide range of aids and equipment to enhance the independence and quality of life of people with a disability. It provides impartial information and professional advice on daily living equipment. The Centre has a large range of aids for daily living and adaptive equipment on display.
