Australian Athletes with a Disability
Australian Athletes with a Disability is responsible for the administration of three National
Sports Organisations for the Disabled and was formed in 2002. The three organisations are: Australian
Sports Organisation for the Disabled; Cerebral Palsy Sports and Recreation Federation of Australia;
and Wheelchair Sports Australia. All three organisations are responsible for the development of sport
for athletes with a disability and administer, promote and coordinate sporting opportunities.

The Australian Blind Golf Association was formed to promote the game of golf amongst Blind and Vision
