Suicide Prevention Australia
Suicide Prevention Australia (SPA) is a non-profit, non-government organisation working as a public health
advocate in suicide prevention. SPA is the only national umbrella body active in suicide prevention throughout
Australia. We are also the only non-government member organisation of suicidologists in Australia. Ours is a
broad-based organisation, which brings together diverse community interests across disciplines, youth and
mental health sectors and the public affected by suicide. As a national non-government umbrella organisation,
we support and assist individuals and organisations throughout Australia. We provide resources and training
programs for education and awareness in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention.
