Department of Tourism, Sport and the Commonwealth Games
The Department of Tourism, Sport and the Commonwealth Games is the agency responsible for driving planning and preparations for the 2006 Commonwealth Games, the interlinking of sport and tourism and the image projected by Victoria internationally as it hosts major events. The department has wide-ranging responsibilities for four Ministerial portfolios of Tourism, Sport and Recreation, Commonwealth Games 2006, and Racing in Victoria. Travellers Aid Disability Access Service (TADAS)
Travellers Aid Disability Access Service, known as TADAS, is part of the Travellers Aid Society of Victoria, a not-for-profit agency providing a range of services to the people of Melbourne and to people who visit Melbourne. People with any type of disability and from any cultural and linguistic background can use TADAS.
